City Idea and Locative Art

My city will be a large sprawling area rising out of a bay.  The inspiration for it is Venice, but rather than a lagoon, I want it out on the open sea.  The thought is that the world the city resides in is not fully bound by our laws of physics.  I'm also influenced by the idea of vertical cities and mega structures that dwarf our concept of scale.  Also, since it is a city literally on the water, there will be very few roads, and be made entirely of canals, as well as a rail system.  And since it is a futuristic city, possibly sky travel.

This is Venice

And here are a few of the mega structure I find interesting.

As for locative art, I found a cool one called Ghostwire.  It is similar to pokemonGO in that you use your phone to find ghosts.  But these ghost might give a riddle or ask for help in moving on.  So the game also involves learning and possibly doing more searching to help these specters find peace.
